A stunning display specimen of the Trilobite Asaphus kawalewskii, collected from the Vilpovitsy Quarry in St. Petersburg, Russia. This specimen dates to the Mid Ordovician, around 435 million years ago. It has undergone expert preparation, with the antennae especially being a striking feature. The trilobite measures 7.5 x 4.5 cm, and features a surrounding matrix. The whole piece measures 23 x 11 x 6 cm at its widest and deepest points. The piece comes with an information label. If possible, in person collection would be recommended.
