It is an economical fabric that would be good for toppers, ticking, or any other simple projects. Because it is a heavyweight woven fabric, it is easy to work with. We use it in conjunction with our wool flake to make a wool mattress.  It is also a common choice when reupholstering a couch to use as an inner case underneath your outer fabric.
